Dr. Margaret ‘Meg’ Richards has over 25 years' experience as an epidemiologist in the public health, biopharmaceutical, and contract research sectors. Prior to joining PPD as Executive Director of Epidemiology, Dr. Richards served as a Director of Global Patient Safety & Risk Management at Genzyme (now Sanofi) Corporation. Dr. Richards has degrees in nutrition and public health (epidemiology) and she served a two-year tour of duty with the US Public Health Service.
