Dr. Yang is a senior scientist and deputy director in the indication expansion team at Bayer. He is responsible for prioritizing and translating the best indications into clinical PoC studies in a data-driven way, involving scientific, regulatory and commercial considerations.
With 10 years' experience in the data integration, data-mining and R&D intelligence, he was involved in different innovation roles across academia, regulatory agency and industry, with a multi-cultural working experience across China, U.S. and Europe, such as in U.S. FDA and GlaxoSmithKline (U.S.) R&D.
Dr. Yang achieved the academic influence in the data science area through 40+ scientific publications and 2,000+ citations since 2011. He was also appointed the adjunct professorship at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P.R. China.
